Hamzeh Karimi, CEO of Taban Farda Group, has strangely promised project advancements over the past year and a half, while the realities are remarkably distant from these promises. He took over management on May 18, 2025, with a 54% progress rate, but now, more than 15 months later, the progress of the projects has only reached "about 55%". These figures clearly indicate that Taban Farda Group has practically been stagnant and has not taken any serious action to advance the projects.
New Claims and Contradictions
Despite a weak record, Hamzeh Karimi announced on August 29 the issuance of a license for the urea and ammonia project of Dehloran Petrochemical and linked this news to the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS). This linkage seems more aimed at giving weight to the news in public perception than having a logical reason for it. However, it is interesting that Taban Farda has recently announced that this project is still under review and has not entered the execution phase. These contradictions and lack of transparency in information can easily raise serious questions about the management and performance of Hamzeh Karimi.
The Ministry of Oil and shareholders must answer these questions: Based on what performance has Hamzeh Karimi been retained, and why are managers with such records and contradictory narratives more successful in "progressive endeavors"? Given these statistics, is it not time to take a serious look at the performance of managers in this sector?
